About this vintage design furniture

Minimalist highboard by Dutch designer Cees Braakman for UMS Pastoe, the Netherlands, 1960s. This highboard is part of the very popular "Japanese Series". Model No.- CU06 and is mentioned in the Pastoe catalogue of 1965. This tall cabinet has an off-white formica door with the iconic black handles, behind this door are shelves also in off-white. Underneath this door are four drawers called "dust free" drawers with a smart integrated handle. On the right side there is a door with four shelves behind it. The top board rests on a modern black steel housing with four legs. The cabinet is in excellent original condition.
