About this vintage design furniture
Originally designed by Verner Panton in 1970, the Amoebe Highback chair was created for the Visiona installation and has become a design icon. Filled with bright red fabric, the sinuous curves create a bold, sculptural silhouette that also offers comfort. The elongated backrest curves over the seat, creating a canopy effect and a sense of shelter and seclusion. This Amoebe chair is a piece of design history that will look great in any home or office. Wear consistent with age and use. Minor discoloration. Good condition with some discoloration on the top of the backrest and some marks on the fabric.
