About this vintage design furniture
This classic bentwood chair is no longer presented Since the 1920s, this model 209 has often been called a "masterpiece" because of its design and construction: the backrest and armrests are formed from a single curved cantilever frame made from a single piece of solid beech wood. Still made today, this iconic chair has not aged a bit. The one we offer was produced in the 1960s by LIGNA in the Czech Republic, a former Thonet factory. This model was originally with a very worn cane seat. It has been restored with a seat in plywood, foam and grey mottled upholstery. Dimensions: Seat: Height 49cm Back: Height 80cm Total width 56cm Depth: 47cm
