About this vintage design furniture
An impressive set of ten dining chairs with an extendable dining table, designed by Ernst W. Beranek and manufactured by Thonet in Austria circa 1980.This eye-catching set is made of high-quality black wood. The table and chairs all have chrome metal legs that accentuate the elegant style of the pieces. They are part of the "Fine Forms" series by Thonet. The chairs were recently upholstered in a gray fabric with beautiful subtle patterns in the frame. This works perfectly with the luxurious style of the room and the chrome leg ends. Two of the chairs have arms, making them a perfect fit for the heads of the table. Measurement details:Chairs with arms measure W. 54 x D. 58 x H. 106 (SH. 45) cm.Chairs without arms measure W. 43 x D. 56 x H. 106 (SH. 45) cm.Table is W. 170-230-290 x D. 100 x H. 74 cm.As shown in the photos, the original manufacturer's label is still present. The set is in very good, vintage condition, with minor wear consistent with age and use, and upholstered seats and backs. It has a very nice period patina.
