About this vintage design furniture
The design of this brutalist pendant lamp is often attributed to Finnish designer Nanny Still-McKinney and its manufacture to Raak Amsterdam. This is not the case, but the true source of design and manufacture has never really been revealed by good documentation. Some options are Philips and Peil und Putzler. Nevertheless, these lamps and many other models like this one found great appreciation in the 1970s in Holland and Belgium. The metal always in these colors and the glass bubbling, in orange and yellow and other colors. It has an oxidized metal shade with blown amber glass inserts that give a very warm light effect. This lamp is in very good condition with almost no signs of age and use.
