About this vintage design furniture
Barrel bridge armchair with armrests by Pierre Guariche. Steiner edition, 1953. Moulded plywood with dark stained wood, black lacquered metal and grey imitation seat cover. Labelled under the seat. Stains on the imitation, visible scratches on the back. The plywood is cracked at the bottom of the backrest, see pictures. This is the weak point of these molded plywood chairs: they are not suitable for all sizes. Seat height is 46 cm.
