About this vintage design furniture
This set of four vintage dining chairs was designed by Edmund Homa circa 1960s, famous Polish designer. It is the GFM-110 model produced by Gościńskie Furniture Factory. The chairs are very light in form and comfortable in use. They have been fully restored, finished with natural oil that protects the wood and gives it a natural, warm finish. This set has been reupholstered in a high quality fabric from the Danish brand Kvadrat - Coda 2 (90 virgin wool 10 nylon) in a beautiful aubergine brown colour. The same fabric has been chosen by leading interior designers, including the Elbphilharmonie in Hamburg and the Melbourne office of Norton Rose Fulbright. The structure of the fabric matches the woven rattan backrest beautifully. A great Polish design in a Scandinavian spirit.
