Vintage Trompet opal glass pendant lamp by Fog & Mørup, Denmark 1960

"Trompet" is a large pendant light with a thick handmade opal glass shade. It was launched by the famous Danish producer Fog & Mørup in 1963. It is available in single, double and triple versions. The minimalist straight glass shade ends in a teak wood cone. It gives a smooth and elegant light effect from the sides and a good downward projection. The lamp measures 40 cm, including the wooden top. This simple version is in perfect condition, with no marks on the edges of the glass shade. It has been rewired for safety with a new white textile cable and a new socket. Standard bulb holder E 27.
