About this vintage design furniture

Set of 10 dining chairs designed by Børge Mogensen in late 1960s as model 101 for Søborg Møbelfabrik - one of the high quality makers of the era located just outside Copenhagen and one of the main producers for designers such as Peter Hvidt and Orla Molgaard. The chairs are made of solid oak with a backrest of form bent oak ply, the upholstery has been changed for steel grey wool. The oak wood frame is in original condition, traditionally to Danish mid century style, finished with white soap. Most of the chairs have manufacturers sticker on the bottom. They are very comfortable and wider than most of contemporary dining chairs. Seat height: 43 cm, armrest height from floor: 66 cm.
