About this vintage design furniture
A little glass wall mounted shelf, or planchette, designed by Peter Ghyczy and manufactured by Ghyczy in the Netherlands around 1970. This lovely piece is made of a rectangular clear glass plate, held against the wall by a brass arm. Beautifully finished with a nice eye for detail. It remains in very good, vintage condition with minor wear consistent with age and use, preserving a beautiful patina.

About the designer
Peter GHYCZY
Peter Ghyczy is a Dutch designer born in 1940 in Budapest, Hungary. After studying architecture at Munich University of Technology, he moved to Stuttgart, where he worked as an industrial designer for various companies.
