All deliveries are made by specialised professional carriers.

> BULKY or FRAGILE ITEMS: you will be contacted by email and/or telephone a few days before your delivery to arrange an appointment. Deliveries are made on a time slot defined by the carrier.

The delivery options available are displayed during your shopping journey on our site and may vary from item to item, depending on its size, weight, etc. Here are the different options:

Building's Doorstep:
The delivery person will unload the items from the vehicle and place them on the pavement in front of your home. You will be responsible for them from this point onwards. For heavy or bulky items, arrange for a relative to help or choose the "in-Home" delivery option when available.

In-Home:
The delivery person will unload the items from the vehicle and drop them off inside your home, upstairs if you wish. For heavy or bulky items, a second delivery person will be present if required.

Pick up from the merchant:
If you wish, you can pick up the items from the merchant yourself and save on delivery costs! The distance between the merchant and the delivery address is indicated on each product. Once you have paid for your order, we will provide you with the merchant's address. Please note that if you choose this option, you will no longer have the 14 day delay to withdraw your purchase.

Delivery by the merchant:
When this option is available, the merchant will deliver the items to your address himself, at the curb. You will be responsible for them from that point onwards. For heavy or bulky items, arrange for a relative to help or choose the option of delivery to your home when available.

About this vintage design furniture

Dom Hans van der Laan, Jan de Jong, Bossche school, table or writing desk, Netherlands 1970s. Rare and unique small writing table designed by Dom Hans van der Laan and executed by Jan de Jong for a private residence, 1962-1966. This table comes from the town hall where Jan de Jong was the architect, this town hall was fully decorated with furniture from the Bossche School, also this table was a part of the interior. The table has a very nice dark brownblack lacquer finish which is difficult to define and has a very nice patina from age and usage. The table is finished with copper nails and has a green painted solid metal frame. The table was fully designed by the proportions of the ‘Plastic number’ which was designed by Dom Hans van der Laan. During the reconstruction period after WWII, the Dutch architect Jan de Jong and Dom Hans van der Laan collaborated on several architectural projects including interior furniture. They created an outstanding body of work defining the style of the Bossche School. Jan de Jong was able to translate many of Dom v.d.Laan’s idealized concepts and ideas into pioneering buildings and spaces. They worked in such close collaboration however that it is difficult to discern the individual level of input into the furniture they designed. The artist Wim van Hoof worked with the two architects proposing different color schemes for their projects.
