About this vintage design furniture
This rosewood highboard was designed and manufactured in Denmark in the 1960s by H. P. Hansen. The piece features three storage sections that reveal lots of space and are easily accessible with sliding doors. The section on the left with 4 drawers inlaid with green felt, and a slide-out bar top, plus a shelf high enough to fit various bottles. The middle section reveals two spacious shelves. And the section on the right features 3 smaller shelves. Four sliding doors feature beautifully sculpted handles. The piece is set on nicely shaped, tapered legs. The frame and legs are made of solid wood, the chest is veneered. Very rare bowed front not only adds originality and unique character to the piece but also shows extraordinary craftsmanship and precision of making. The sideboard is after subtle refreshment and is in very good condition. It is finished with high-quality natural oil that brought out the warmth and beautiful color of rosewood.
