Stunning and very rare chest of 4 drawers designed by John Herbert as part of the ’Codan’ range for the renowned high-quality maker Younger of Great Britain. Younger were renowned for their high-quality workmanship and mainly retailed through Heals. –Virtually in perfect unused Superb original condition. Amazing Quality all over Larger than most chests of the period, beautifully simplistic design, constructed impressively from solid teak (except the drawer interiors, etc), this is very unusual as most mid-century furniture (including danish) were constructed using veneers.
