About this vintage design furniture
Silk-screened perspex clock, signed by Eugenio Carmi. Eugenio Carmi (Genoa, February 17, 1920 - Lugano, February 16, 2016) has been one of the leading exponents of Italian abstraction since the early 1950s. In the first two decades with informal painting and from the end of the sixties in the rigor of geometric shapes, which he will progressively develop over the following decades. Most of his works are on canvas, but important in his artistic career are the papers, the iron works, the cans, the multiples and the sculptures. He is still considered today as one of the innovators of the graphic language of the fifties and sixties.
