Rare pair of easychairs by Frits Schlegel for Fritz Hansen in beechwood with sea grass webbing on seat and backrest. One of the chairs is in good condition with light signs of use and the other one has some defects on the sea grass webbing on the seat that needs a bit of care.

About the designer
Frits SCHLEGEL
Frits Schlegel (1896-1965) was a Danish designer known for his work in the 1930s and 1940s, which contributed to the creation of the Danish modern style. He studied at the Royal Danish Academy of Fine Arts and worked in the studio of Kaare Klint, one of the most famous Danish designers of the time. Schlegel then set up his own workshop in 1926 and began producing furniture in collaboration with other leading designers.
