About this vintage design furniture
This bookcase was made in the 1960s, designed by the famous designer Bertil Fridhagen for the Swedish manufacturer Bodafors.The structure is covered with teak veneer. Feet in solid wood stained black. Refreshed surface. Inside, the space has been filled with practical shelves with height adjustment. The bookcase is ideal for having a large collection of books or collectibles in a small living space. Another advantage is the universal bar. Inside the bar there is an additional insert with drawers and a compartment. The lock works, key included. The cabinet has an opening in the back wall of the bar for cables.Condition: The surface of the cabinet after a refresh. Minor scratches and marks are visible. More significant signs of use are still shown in the photos. The product is ready to be used. For safety reasons, the furniture legs can be unscrewed and the shelves removed for transport. Bertil FRIDHAGEN
Bertil FRIDHAGEN was a Swedish industrial designer who was born in 1933 and died in 2003. He studied at the Stockholm School of Arts and Crafts and began his career in the 1950s working for various Swedish companies.
