Pair of 'Swan' armchairs by Arne Jacobsen, produced by Fritz Hansen First editions Swivel armchair. Aluminium four-legged central leg. Label Fritz Hansen. Height 76 cm, width 66 cm, depth 76 cm, seat height 39 cm The upholstery has been professionally redone by an upholsterer, with leather covering. Swedish design classic Extremely comfortable Created in 1958 by the famous Arne Jacobsen, the "Swan chair" was originally intended to furnish the lobby and reception of the Royal Hotel in Copenhagen. It is still produced today. These chairs are original vintage editions, not a re-edition, let alone a copy.
