About this vintage design furniture

Tulip chair model: FK 6725 in beigecamel leather designed by Preben Fabricius and Jorgen Kastholm for Kill International in 1966. In 1969 this German chair was awarded the Bonds Price Gute Form. Remarkable about this chair is the very flexible back and the base made of a split and then folded tube. The condition is still good with normal traces of use; the leather has aged nicely, no cracks and or holes, some discoloration (see photos). Material: metal base, seat shell made of polyester and fiberglass covered with beige leather. Materials: metal, polyester, glass fiber reinforced and upholstered in leather. Dimensions: h x w x d 90 x 71 x 69 cm, seat height 45 cm. The base (with legs) is 71 cm wide. Source: Book furniture that make history, Eigenhuis & Interieur page 112.
