About this vintage design furniture

The Tenera series was designed in the late 1950s by Nils Thorsson (1898-1975) for Aluminia, whose name was changed to Royal Copenhagen in 1969. The sets in this series were designed by other artists. For example, the decoration of this six-compartment earthenware server is by the Norwegian artist Beth Breyen. It is marked under the base: 215 for the decoration and 1802 for the shape and the signature of Beth Breyen. The mark of Alumina and the word "Denmark", having been almost completely erased, it is not possible to date precisely the year of production of this dish, but to place it between 1963 and 1969.
