About this vintage design furniture
Chandelier in jacketed Murano glass composed of an internal layer of opal white glass and an external layer of "straw-colored" glass. Manufactured by Vistosi in the 1960s. The chandelier is not marked but I have had one in the past that still bore the label. Sending photos on request. Pair available. In very good condition, the metal parts have slight signs of oxidation.

About the designer
Gino VISTOSI
Gino Vistosi was an Italian designer who was born in 1931 and died in 2016. He was best known for his work in glassmaking and glassblowing, an artisan skill typical of Italy's Venice region. He began his career in the 1950s, working in the family glassmaking business, Vistosi, founded by his grandfather in 1921.
