A very rare danish 1950s to 1960s ceramic vase manufactured by Michael Andersen, Bornholm, Denmark. This beautiful object from the ’Negro’ series was designed by Marianne Starck. Stripe pattern in shiny white on matte black, outstanding double neck shape. Marked to bottom with ’Denmark’ and the label MA & S (for Michael Andersen & Sons). Very good condition, no damages. Height 9" (22.8 cm), width 4 14" (12 cm), depth 4 110" (10.5 cm), weight 700 g
