About this vintage design furniture

Daybed llt resting bench meridian named "Cleopatra. It was designed by Dick Cordemeijer, Dutch designer for Auping in the 1950s. The frame is made of matt black lacquered metal and the original lattice base is marked Auping. Two solid teak edges at each end. The mattress is firm and comfortable and the fabric is original. Light beige fabric. Original bolster. Good general condition but the fabric although cleaned is not new, it shows some traces of wear and tear but no stains or snags. The piping in particular shows traces of rubbing (see close-ups). Dimensions : length 198 cm width 84 cm total height 40 cm mattress thickness 13 cm bolster diameter 17 cm height of the legs 24 cm
