About this vintage design furniture
A set of 2 stylish, modernist armchairs, manufactured by Cassina in Italy, the iconic Carimate chair was designed by Vico Magistretti in 1959 for the Club House of the Carimate Golf Club in Lombardy. It was sold in the UK through Sir Terence Conran’s Habitat throughout the 1960s, and still exhibits in the MoMA in New York. The chairs are in lovely vintage condition, with faded patina through natural wear. The seats have been finished in cream canvas.
