About this vintage design furniture
Lounge chair designed by Louis van Teeffelen for Dutch manufacturor Wébé. This beautiful chair is made of afromosia wood (also known as afro teak). The frame has been fully refinished. The lounge chair is reupholstered in Danish high quality fabric from Kvadrat, type Steelcut trio colour number 853. The frame shows normal signs of use appropriate to age.

About the designer
Louis VAN TEEFFELEN
Wim Rietveld Van Teeffelen, better known as Louis van Teeffelen, was a Dutch designer who was born in 1921 and died in 1972. He studied at the Rotterdam Academy of Fine Arts and began his career as a furniture designer in the 1950s.
