About this vintage design furniture
Very rare and totally refurbished Louis Van Teeffelen Sofa and Lounge Chair. The sofa has been sympathetically restored and strengthen so not all original. This mostly under the bottom and back of sofa, so its not seen. The chair is in excellent condition. Both have new fabric (teal wool) that enhances the style and essence of the Dark Teak wood. This duo is ready to be used and is a great starter for MCM lovers, LVT furniture is often mistaken for Danish -- hence the Scandinavian Influence. Sofa 175x70x85 cm. Armchair 70x50x85 cm.

About the designer
Louis VAN TEEFFELEN
Wim Rietveld Van Teeffelen, better known as Louis van Teeffelen, was a Dutch designer who was born in 1921 and died in 1972. He studied at the Rotterdam Academy of Fine Arts and began his career as a furniture designer in the 1950s.
