Hagafors Rocking Chair This exquisite Hagafors rocking chair designed by Roland Rainer for this iconic Swedish brand dates back to the 1960s and is a beautiful addition to any bedroom or living space. Austrian architect Roland Rainer created this design for the Swedish Hagafors brand in 1960 and it is a prime example of mid-century minimalist Scandinavian modern style. Contrasting a natural wooden teak seat with a richly ebonised frame made from beech wood, this rocking chair boasts a fine finish and is a wonderfully functional yet aesthetically pleasing piece that is sure to add comfort and elegance to your vintage-inspired home. Roland RAINER

Roland Rainer was an Austrian architect and designer who was born in 1910 and died in 2004. He studied at the Academy of Fine Arts in Vienna and began his career working for the Austrian architect Clemens Holzmeister.
