About this vintage design furniture
Superb, collectible, large, vintage, barber hairdresser’s mirror inside of a nickel-plated, brass frame with rounded edges and chocolate-brown colored, faux leather casing, circa 1950’s This timeless piece, remains in excellent, near mint condition. The mirror itself, is clean with no scratches, chips or cracks. The frame has rounded edges with no dents. It’s maintained a smooth, sleek patina with minuscule signs of age and use commensurate with time (see photos.) The chocolate- brown color of the skai faux leathervinyl panel (casing) is also in wonderful condition, with very light marks of age and use consistent with time, but no rips or tears (see photos next to a 1 centime coin for perspective.) The chain at the top center, is original, sturdy and functional, so it can be hung on a wall with no issue. The functional, practical design of this mirror, also makes it compact enough to place into a carry-on bag when traveling. It has been only gently cleaned with respect to the original patina. A fantastic piece of history, that can still be used in modern times and an excellent gift for collectors of nostalgia, that will look fantastic in an entry hallway, niche, bathroom, bedroom, living room, et al. DIMENSIONS: - Height: 28 cm - Height with chain: 32 cm - Width: 37.2 cm - Depth: Less than 1 cm
