About this vintage design furniture
Small brutalist pendant lamp designed by Svend Aage Holm Sørensen for Holm-Sorensen & Co in Denmark, 1960s. Danish designer Svend Aage Holm Sørensen (1913-2004) is known for his self-produced sculptural raw lighting designs with unfinished brass and copper surfaces. He developed a special technique in which he treated the lamps with acid and a cutting torch. The condition is still very good and original. Dimensions. Height x diam 25 x 11 cm and the length of the cord is 110 cm.

About the designer
Henning SORENSEN
Henning Sorensen was a Danish designer known for his elegant, modern furniture. Born in 1926, Sorensen began his career as an apprentice in a Copenhagen carpentry workshop. He went on to work for leading Danish furniture manufacturers such as Fritz Hansen and Fredericia Furniture.
