About this vintage design furniture

A pair of children’s chairs designed by Adam Stegner in the 1970s for Elmar Flototto. Seats made of bent rosewood plywood, mounted on chromed skid-shaped frames. Good condition, visible signs of use.

About the designer

Hugues STEINER

1926 - 1991

Hugues Steiner was a French designer born in Mulhouse in 1933 and died in Paris in 2014. He studied at the Strasbourg School of Applied Arts, then worked as a graphic designer and art director in several advertising agencies in France and Switzerland.
