Vintage neoclassical dining table Maurice Hirsch black wood gilded mirror, France 1970s
About this vintage design furniture
This beautiful hexagonal dining table is signed by the French neoclassical designer Maurice Hirsch and was ordered as a bridge table in the early 1970s. Typical of the designer, the piece is inspired by the 19th century, but with a contemporary touch. Made of black-stained wood with gold accents, the table has been completely restored and varnished. The mirror top is in perfect condition. Maurice Hirsch was a renowned decorator in the 60s and 70s, known for his neo-classical style, bringing the Louis XV and Louis XVI standards up to date at the end of the art deco period.
