About this vintage design furniture
Magnificent high bentwood barstools produced by the Tatra company according to the Thonet design. Produced in Czechoslovakia in the 1950s. The stools are made of hard oak wood with bentwood details. Finished with period gold velvet seats. The seats were refurbished in this fabric a few years ago. The chairs are very elegant and comfortable. The design has some typical Thonet features, such as the bentwood details or the round ring for the legs. The chairs are in very good condition, with a slight wear of the finish, especially of the foot ring. But this patina actually looks very charming. The chairs are very solid. We have 6 of them available in the same condition. Price for one chair. Seat height 75cm.
