Vintage platter in formica and brass By MB 1960s

Superb mid-century Italian vintage serving tray with gilded brass decoration, faux rosewood, formica finish, with two handles, circa 1950-1960. This magnificent room is on the whole in excellent original condition, as it has been impeccably maintained over the years. ~ The top has a magnificent "false" rosewood formica effect, with tiny signs of age, wear and traces of time (see photos). ~ The beautiful golden brass decorative border that surrounds the set has a vintage, Hollywood Regency touch, typical of the period in which it was made and also remains in fantastic condition, with a patina of time and use, proportional to age. ~ The handles have a sleek modern curved design, which could potentially be used to hang on the top of a serving trolley. ~ The piece has been carefully cleaned to retain its original pale gold patina. ~ The brass is also in excellent general condition, almost new, with extremely slight signs of age and use in relation to time (see photos.) ~ The tray still bears its original stamp, "MB", in the form of a sticker that also says "Modello Marchio Depositati", that represents the trademark. According to the label itself, we know that this piece is an earlier edition, because from in the 1970s, labels went to the English language that said "Patent, Made in Italy" Superb piece, in this really exquisite condition, light, works perfectly as it was designed and will be pleasant to use wherever you wish.
