Top design from Dutch soil The chair is stylish black with a seat in colorful red. A classic design by Theo Ruth for Artifort. Period: 1950s. Beautiful because of its simplicity. Theo Ruth pioneered the Artifort design tradition. He made special designs such as this Congo chair and the Pinguin chair. In this design he was inspired by a chair from Africa and that is where the chair owes its name. The chair consists of a wooden frame in which 2 separate parts hook into each other and both can be disconnected again. Equipped with a wonderful seating comfort.
