About this vintage design furniture
Gray-blue Gispen desk lamp model 5315 designed by W.H. Gispen in 1931. After 1939 the pull switches were replaced by a push switch in the base. This desk lamp was made in the 1950s. The condition is very good and original with normal traces of use and wear. Small dent on top of the hood (see photo). Cork is stuck to the bottom of the base (against scratching). The wiring has been checked by an electrician. Dimensions: h x d (hood) 45 x 35 cm. Colour: Gray blue. Source: Gispen Lamps catalogue 1931, page 72 and Gispen Giso lamps catalogue 37 from 1957.
