About this vintage design furniture
Charles Rennie Mackintosh's house on the hill. This is a very fine example of the Glasgow arts and crafts movement in the Jugendstil Art Nouveau timeline. The only reprint authorized by Cassina, Italy. Made in the 80s for a short period of time. Out of production. The set consists of a sofa and the corresponding armchair. Blackend oak frame upholstered with original rose and teardrop fabrics. The armchair has a seat upholstered in grey fabric. Both pieces are marked with the manufacturer's stamp and production number. Chair Dimensions : L 76cm H 67 D 81,5 Sofa dimensions W 129.5 H 76 D 81.5. Armchair: the seating area is upholstered. Tear in the fabric in the backrest area (photo). Sofa: Signs of use and age.
