Vintage Eclisse Table Lamp by Vico Magistretti for Artemide 1960s

Eclisse table or wall lamp in dark blue, designed by Vico Magistretti for Studio Artemide in 1966, produced since 1967, awarded the Compasso D’Oro, it’s part of the permanent collection of the MOMA in New York. An icon of Italian Design, the Eclisse innovated with simplicity, as is typical of Magistretti’s design, the type of bedside lamps, allowing the light to be adjusted with a simple gesture. This is the first series, not the modern reissue. In very good condition, just a small scratch on the back. The plug is not original.
