Vintage side table Scandinavian 1960s

~ Fantastic mid-century Scandinavian style vintage side table, circa 60's. The table is in walnut. The table top has a nice black tiled mosaic decor with white grout that really contrasts with the walnut color of the edges, the central part of the top and legs. Design and dimensions of the table, very close or similar to some works of Georges Briard (unsigned piece). Nice long spindle shaped legs, which give the piece height and elegance, and is in good original condition, with signs and marks of age and use, in relation to its age on the top, legs and edges (see photos near a 1 cent coin for perspective.) The black colour of some of the mosaics has faded slightly to a pale gold colour on the mosaics (see photos). There are 2 tiny cracks near 2 corners of the top, which I guess were old repairs (see photo). One of the edges is slightly out of place '(Again, I think, from an old repair, see photo)'. Patina also in accordance with time and usage. The piece has been delicately cleaned and dusted to preserve the original patina. The four feet have their original protections which are in good condition. The table is solid and sturdy. A beautiful piece to use, whether in a hallway, an entrance hall, as an occasional table in the living room, as a bedside table in a bedroom, as a plant stand or as an accent piece on which to place other decorative objects.
