About this vintage design furniture

A beautiful mid-century rattan-covered chair. The chair was designed by the Italian-Swiss designer Gian Franco Legler for the Italian restaurant "The Basket" in 1951. The design then received the "Good Design Award" in 1953 from the Museum of Modern Art (MoMA) in New York. The chair is made of natural rattan and its frame is covered with black powder paint. It is a timeless piece that can be combined with different interiors. Dimensions height: 79 cm width: 43 cm depth: 44 cm seat height: 41 cm
