Scandinavian vintage teak chest of 4 drawers by Kempkes, Netherlands 1960

Scandinavian chest of drawers or storage furniture edited by Kempkes (19061971 Netherland) in wood with a teak veneer finish from the 1960s. The piece is part of the "Formula" line (see photo). The piece has a 4 drawer front with a nice storage capacity, all clean and functional (the 3 smaller ones on top; dimension W 56 D 39 H 10 and the biggest one on the bottom W 56 D 39 H 16) with beautiful handles typical of the period. The piece is in very good overall vintage condition, with some marks and usage marks on the top (see photo, next to 1 cent coin for perspective) and side panels, very small lack of veneer on the back left side of the top, and superb patina of time. It has been delicately cleaned to preserve its original look as much as possible. There are 2 brass screws on each side of the panels because the piece could be attached to other modules (2 more to come soon on the site). The piece is not only scandinavian for the style or the shape, it was made in Finland (see picture), you can't really get more scandinavian. Very practical piece, has minimal space, perfect for a bedroom, hallway, living room or other.
