About this vintage design furniture

String shelf designed in 1949 by Nils Strinning. The system consists of two metal ladders in black with two shelves. The surfaces are veneered in teak. This original String shelf is much better processed and of a better quality than many other wall shelves from the 50s60s. Quality features: – high quality veneer – 2cm thick shelves made of woodcore plywood, to prevent bending – stable shelf holders, that compensate slight unevenness – stable ladders – Made in Sweden, manufacturer: String Design, designer: Nils Strinning Shelves: W 58 cm, H 2 cm, D 20 cm Good restored condition with slight signs of usage.
