About this vintage design furniture
Globe floor lamp by Frank Ligtelijn for RAAK, designed in 1960s, Netherlands. Smoked glass globe on an adjustable chrome stand. Original 3 star iron base and foot switch with original wiring. Floating smoked glass globe rotates in almost any direction and base is height adjustable from 48" to 64" Globe measures: 14" diameter.

About the designer
Frank LIGTELIJN
Frank Ligtelijn (1943-2017) was a Dutch industrial designer known for his work in office equipment and consumer electronics. He studied at the Royal Academy of Fine Arts in The Hague before working for Philips Design from 1967.
