About this vintage design furniture
This free-sprung armchair was designed by Hana Kucerova-Zaveska around 1930 for the Czech company Hynek Gottwald. The structure is made from chromed steel tubing, and the backrest and seat are made from plywood. There has been some restoration with glue lamination to one piece of the existing seat and backrest. The original chrome plating has an age-related patina.
