About this vintage design furniture
This vintage rosewood sideboard was designed by Arne Hovmand Olsen for Mogens Kold Møbelfabrik. It was manufactured in Denmark during the 1960s. It is made from rosewood and rosewood veneer. It features three clean and scentless drawers and four doors, with storage space behind. To open each door you pull a concealed handle, carved in the wood. With a very clean design it is the rio palisander rosewood grain that stands out. Manufacturers stamp on the back. Base is made out of solid wood and is detachable. Sideboards ground clearance 19 cm. Very good vintage conditon.

About the designer
Egon A OLSEN
Egon A. Olsen was a Norwegian industrial designer who was born in 1922 and died in 2013. He studied design at the Oslo School of Applied Arts and began his career working for the industrial design firm Rastad & Relling Tegnekontor in the 1950s.
