About this vintage design furniture
This set of five dining chairs is from the hand of Gijs van der Sluis (the Netherlands). The chromed metal tubular frames have some signs of the time. The seating and backrest are professionally re-upholsterd with a dark grey woolen felt by Kvadrat – Divina MD. Traces of use on the frame (see pics)

About the designer
Gijs VAN DER SLUIS
Geert Van Der Sluis (1941-2008) was a Dutch designer specializing in office furniture. He studied furniture design at the Groningen School of Art in the Netherlands, where he later taught for several years.
