This rug is an excellent example of 1970s pop art interior. It was made in Germany in the 1970s using a high quality handmade macramé weaving technique.This high quality rug was designed in the 1970s by Ewald Kröner and manufactured by his own Label Schloss Hackhausen near Düsseldorf, Germany. It is made of wool and is still in very good condition.Fantastic coloring in different shades of blue and light gray etc. and on top several knotted elements. This fantastic and super rare rug has Kröner's signature directly on the back.
