About this vintage design furniture
Beautiful triangular Murano glass vase made by Alfredo Barbini (one of Murano’s leading figures of the 20th century) in the 1970s. Soft rounded edges at each of its three sides. A teardrop shaped interior is suspended above the thick clear cased base. Signed "Barbini Murano" on lower side. Height: 23 cm. Colour: clear. Excellent vintage conditon.

About the designer
Alfredo BARBINI
Alfredo Barbini was a famous Italian designer and master glassmaker, born in Venice in 1912 and died in 2007. He began his career in the 1930s working for several glass companies in Murano, an island near Venice known for its production of high-quality glass. Barbini then founded his own company, Vetreria Alfredo Barbini, in 1950.
