About this vintage design furniture

Height: 32.68 in. (83 cm) Width: 25.2 in. (64 cm) Depth: 27.56 in. (70 cm) Seat Height: 13.78 in. (35 cm) This shapely and comfortable lounge chair Model FD145 was designed by Peter Hvidt and Orla Mølgaard Nielsen for France and Daverkosen. This piece comes in a version made of solid oak wood with firm and very comfortable boxspring cushions and a blue wool cover. The lower legs, armrests and backrest are highlighted with darker wood. The wood shows some minor signs of wear and tear, like smaller scratches and bumbs, mainly on the lower legs. The armchair comes with the manufacturer’s metal tag. We have two chairs in stock. The listing and the price is for one chair.

Peter HVIDT & Orla MOLGAARD NIELSEN

Hvidt & Mølgaard Nielsen is a mid-20th-century Danish design duo consisting of Peter Hvidt and Orla Mølgaard Nielsen. Peter Hvidt was born in Copenhagen in 1916 and studied at the Royal Danish Academy of Fine Arts before working as a designer for various companies. Orla Mølgaard Nielsen was born in Copenhagen in 1907 and also studied at the Royal Danish Academy of Fine Arts, before working as an architect and designer.
