Mid Century Leather Sofa and Armchairs Set by Tobia Scarpa for MYC Gavina 1960s

Set of Leather Sofa and Armchairs designed by Tobía Scarpa for Gavina and produced and distributed by MYC (Official Gavina Distributor in Spain). Spectacular set that owes its design to a mix devised by the designer between Bastiano and Las Pigreco armchairs. This peculiar model is really very rare and very difficult to find and even less the complete set. Its wooden body is based on the idea of the Bastiano but curves at the back like the Pigreco. The brass rivets used are also the same as in the Bastiano model, as well as its sinch system. Its cushions are upholstered in dark brown leather. The leather has wear areas as shown in the images.
