About this vintage design furniture

Gianfranco Frattini was born on 15 Mai 1926 in Padua, Italy. He got is degree in architecture in 1953 at the academy of Milan. In the 1950s he became an apprentice of Gio Ponti. He designed furniture for companies such as Cassina and Bernini; he designed many apartments and houses, created lamps for Arteluce, Artemide, Meroni, Leuka, Superior, Fontana Arte, Lumina and of course LUCI illuminazione d’interni. Gianfranco-Frattini designed this desk halogen lamp in 1979. The halogen techniques where in 1979 upcoming just because of designers like Frattini who used this new form of lightning. Gianfranco Frattini passed away in Milan, Italy on 6 April 2004, he was 78 years old.
