About this vintage design furniture
Rare yellow Panama floor lamp, model no. 6350 designed by Wim Rietveld for Gispen in 1957. This Rietveld floor lamp is adjustable (with the red key) so it can be put in different positions. The cap is yellow and has the shape of a sun hat, that's why it is also called Panama hat. The condition is still very good. It has been fully checked and the wiring has been checked by an electrician. Material: Metal (chrome), steel, aluminum and polyester. Dimensions (adjustable): h x w 168 x 124 x 40,5 cm. The diameter of the lampshade is 40.5 cm, and the diameter of the base is 27 cm. Colors: yellow, white, silver and red. Source: Catalogue Gispen Lamps Giso no. 37 (1957). This lamp still has the rare original polyester diffuser cap and the red adjustment key (see photos).
